We are only four days away from Saturday and my nerves are starting to kick in. Sort of like the slow burst of energy you get when you've have a sip of coffee. ☕
2020 has been chaotic to say the least. When I started thinking about the holidays way back in late August, early September, I was thinking about the different ways I could take this year's holiday season and brighten it up.
It is so easy for each of us to wish one another a "Happy Holiday!" Usually, that is something I look forward to during this time of year. Complete strangers wishing you a happy holiday and knowing that, for once, they are sincere about it.
Not saying most people aren't genuine during the rest of year, but somehow when they wish you a "Merry Christmas" or a "Happy Holiday" it means so much more.🤗
But this year, I wanted to add a little more to the holidays. I wanted to give you something that would brighten up this season and this year - but also create a memory that would last.
So when you remember 2020, you won't just remember COVID-19 or riots in the streets, or the great Alex Trebek passing away - you will also remember the holidays.🌟
Realizing that no matter how thick the fog and how bleak the darkness is, there is always hope. Hope is the light that sees us through. And while hope is never really a plan, it is a great comfort during times like these and the strength our faith needs to keep going on.
"Christmas Gift" the live and virtual concert will feature songs of hope; like "Believe" from the Polar Express, and John Lennon's famous "Happy Xmas (The War is Over)." Classic holiday tunes to remind you that all hope is not lost will also be sung, including " Grown-Up Christmas List" and "Oh Holy Night."
And of course, there will be songs to remind you what the most magical time of year is all about - the light that came to be when the star came to see the beautiful child being born. Songs like (my personal favorite) "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing" and "Joy to the World."
This concert has been months in the making. Like elves in the North Pole, my team and I have been working hard to get the lights strung, the fire going, and the tree just perfect for you to feel at home when you attend the concert. 🎄
But Christmas isn't about any of that. It's about love, family, and hope. That's what the winter child brought to us when He was born and that's what lives in our hearts everyday of the year!
So my Christmas Gift to you this 2020, is a concert filled with story, song, and hope.
I hope you will join me...GET TICKETS
